I just adore repeat clients and I have not seen this family in several years. They called to see if I could photograph their newest addition after she made her appearance. I was overjoyed to see them. Miss M has gotten so big but is still sporting those amazing blue eyes. And I think her sister will be joining her in the beautiful blue eyes department. I had so much fun with sweet baby A. She was a chunky, sleepy, lovable, beautiful baby. Thank you so much M family for bringing your two daughters to see me.

I met sweet little L a few weeks ago. Miss L was quite adorable for her downtown session. We met at a newly created park near her house. It was a very cool little green space in Atlanta. This session was extra special as I had not seen her family since her big brother was the same age, about 3 years ago. It is always fun to watch my families grow from one child to more.

Welcome to the world | My new little Niece

I am an aunt again… it has been a long 20 years since I could say that I was a new aunt! And this little sweetie is my first niece. I am so excited to have a baby in the family and so far it has been so wonderful to watch all the cousins together. My kids are fascinated by her smallness and Garrett only wants to hold her. So sweet. Lydia rubs her head like she was a puppy and Ella admirers her from a comfortable distance. Ella has never been much into holding the babies but she is definitely interested in her tiny fingers and toes.

Last weekend she came to visit me with her mom and dad at the studio. She was a day shy of being 3 weeks old so I wasn’t sure how she would do but she was awesome. She slept right through most of her session with ease and loved being held by her parents. The goal was to get some shots with Dad because Dad is also a photographer. And as we were taking the shots with him he got so emotional, so thankful to be in the images with his first baby girl. It was precious and really hit home with me. As a photographer it is rare that we get to be in the photographs so it is extra special when we are. Especially since they have waited so long to meet this sweet baby girl. Little O seemed so comfortable in her strong Daddy’s hands. So happy and content. I am so honored to be able to capture this moment. So excited for their new family and for the addition of this precious baby in our whole family dynamic.

Miss AK and the new Studio | Roswell Newborn Photographer

Last weekend was the day… my first session in the new studio. I know I have not really announced it here but as you can imagine moving in, getting settled in and rearranging how I do things have kept me pretty busy this month. I am so excited for my new space though and I know after this session that I am going to be very happy here. I so enjoyed the beautiful light my shooting room has and it was so nice to have more room to spread out and make my clients feel more comfortable. And speaking of clients could this sweet girl be a sweeter subject for my first session here. She arrived bright eyed and then shortly went to sleepy town. She was amazing. So adorable with her bright eyes, smiles and red hair. The whole family for that matter was gorgeous. I couldn’t resist putting a shot of them up as well. Thank you C family for bringing your sweetie to see me. I had the BEST time with you three.

Well I promised this sweetie would be soon and here she is… the sweet boys a few posts back have a new sister. She is absolutely precious! Beautiful hair, wonderfully sleepy and overall a dream to work with. I had the best time hanging out with mom and loving on her. We even got some sweet smiles for the camera.

Meet Miss Elliott, Ellie for short. Isnt’ she divine? She came to visit me a short while ago and I was just taken by her calm demeanor and beauty. She was such a good sleeper and so easy going. She is the third child for this family and I often say that the third is usually so easy. Pretty much because they have to be. She was no exception to this rule. I had such a great time with her and her family. Ellie’s sweet snuggles and smiles were just what I needed. Thank you P family for bringing her to see me.

Meet M! He is the happiest three year old around. Always smiling and looking for adventure. He is quick to hold my hand, give me hugs and bring me a flower. He loves playing ball, swinging and hugs from his mommy. He is all the things that make three year olds wonderful. And he makes you stop and think… man they grow up fast. I have a special relationship with M and his mommy. I have known them for years even before M was a thought in his mommy’s head. They are special people with special place in my heart always! And when mom told me that I was part of their inner circle as M ran up to grab my hand when we were walking back to the car I got a little teary. That is what makes my job so special… I get to develop relationships with these amazing people as well as capture memories. I love my job. And speaking of my job…. coming up soon a big announcement about AGR Photography so stay tuned.

I was so excited to see C again. The last time I saw her she was a wee newborn and now sitting and smiling… so fun. She was a bit under the weather but still so adorable. And while she didn’t hardly shed a tear she did seem a bit sleepy. Even still we got some adorable shots of her and her mom brought one of her dresses and bonnets that she wore as a little girl. Oh my she was so cute in that.

Wow I am behind on posting… so much going on here and lots of sessions to share but I have just not gotten back here to show everyone. I know this mom in particular is waiting ever so patiently. I have been photographing this sweet family for almost 4 years and have loved every minute. I consider them friends now for sure and I treasure our time together. Miss Riley is a year old now and such a sweet girl. I love her spunk, silliness and charm. We had a great time on a beautiful day in Roswell.

I love crawling shots… I think they are some of my favorite and this one is even better with that big grin.
