My love for the I family goes deep. I have watched these children grow for the past 5 years and I just love spending time with them. And to top it off mom is one of my good friends now and Ella my oldest daughter and Miss A (the oldest here) are best of buddies. Even though they don’t see each other as much as we would like them to they always pick up just where they left off. I love that. This session the littlest finally decided I was ok. She let me in to her world and even held my hand. Love her. Love all you guys.

On a pretty (slightly warm) sunny morning in Atlanta I met Mr. N for his 1 year session. I remember him so well over the past year. The sweet, snuggly newborn he was to the laughing, excited 5 month old. Now he is walking (or running) all over the place. Full of smiles and lots of things on his agenda. We met at Piedmont Park in Atlanta and it was just the perfect setting for his session. Trees, grass and they have the coolest playground ever! Thank mom and dad for sharing the first year of Nate’s life with me. It has been a joy every step of the way. We will take a trip down memory lane as well.

Oh the sweet brown eyes of this boy just captured me. You can see his whole soul in them. I got to spend the morning with him and his sister not too long ago and we had the best time. Such a lovely family. So much fun! While editing this session I found myself drawn to the black and whites. Which is unusual for me. I am normally a color girl but the black and whites just stirred more emotion in me. So I thought I would share this post in black and white.

I met this sweet family over 9 years ago when our oldest were about 3 weeks old or so. We developed a friendship and started a playgroup with some other moms and spent every week of that first year together. We played, we cried, we laughed, we complained and we shared in each others joy of being new mothers. It was a magical time that I will always look back on with fond memories. Over the years our families have grown, gotten busy and we don’t see each other that much. So when mom called me to do this session I was so happy to get to see everyone and catch up. The kids were so fun and so goofy… they kept me laughing the whole time. And of course just like mom and dad they are all gorgeous! And the reason I called this post 3 of kind? All three have amazing blond hair and gorgeous blue eyes! They are perfectly stunning children! Enjoy!

This family is so near and dear to my heart. Big sister is the same age as my Lydia (4 years) and I first met them when she was 9 months old. I have watched and enjoyed seeing this family grow and add new additions. Little H is a riot and he was so fun to watch do his thing. I love how this family’s personality comes out in every session. I truly am a bystander watching them. I never know what I get till I get back to the computer but I ALWAYS love it. Thank you S and J for letting me peek into your precious family. I love it when photography gives me more than just a great job. Sometimes it brings people into my life that I can’t imagine my life without. This sweet mommy and her son are two such blessings. I not only LOVE taking photos of her little one but I love them both like family. And to think if I never became a photographer I wouldn’t even know them. Goes to show you that you never know what your choices will bring you. This is one amazing bonus to my amazing job!

So I don’t see too many 18 month olds and the ones I do see are usually doing their own thing. Not much into sitting and looking at the camera. Well this little sweetie was quite different. She hammed it up for me the whole session just about. We had a great time together laughing, singing, making animal noises and playing peek a boo. It was a super fun session and I am just thrilled with all the smiles.

Miss C was ALL smiles at our chilly morning session. She hardly fussed one bit even though I saw her shiver a few times… poor baby. I just love this family and have so enjoyed watching her grow over the past year! Thank you mom and dad for meeting me and spending the morning with me.
