So most of you clients out there have at one time or another met Beth. She is my right hand man lady these days. She keeps me organized here at AGR Photography and has made transitioning into a new studio so much easier. Well this post is perfect timing because on Sunday she is tying the knot with her new man! Beth and Paul had a whirl wind romance and have decided set a date of December 12th to become a new family. I am so happy to watch her glow with happiness. It has been a long time since I saw her like this. I wish you guys nothing but happiness and a lifetime of wonderful memories. And if you guys were wondering I am photographing the wedding. Yes I know… I don’t do weddings but how could I say no to Beth. I am excited, nervous and honored to be a part of their day. One has to be my newest favorite age to photograph… I used to be undecided on it but lately I have gotten a ton of wonderfully fun one year olds. Miss A was no disappointment either. She was so patient and tolerated our silliness for a whole hour. Never once cried or made a fuss. She is the serious type though as you can see and was a bit stingy with her smiles. But look at her cute little serious face and blue eyes… does it really matter she didn’t smile in every shot. Nope. I love that serious one year old look. You just have to wonder what they are thinking. Thank you to mom and dad for meeting me on a very hot but nonetheless sunny day. I had a wonderful time with you all.

This is one of my favorite shots… I love her little serious face and the way she is sitting.

I just adore repeat clients and I have not seen this family in several years. They called to see if I could photograph their newest addition after she made her appearance. I was overjoyed to see them. Miss M has gotten so big but is still sporting those amazing blue eyes. And I think her sister will be joining her in the beautiful blue eyes department. I had so much fun with sweet baby A. She was a chunky, sleepy, lovable, beautiful baby. Thank you so much M family for bringing your two daughters to see me.

When I say I love newborns I mean I love them all. How could you not love those sweet little lives that are so new to this world. So fresh and innocent and so instinctive in their movements and habits. I love how there are some things that they ALL do… they all love their hands up by their face, roll their eyes around when they sleep and lift their eyebrows. They all stretch and startle themselves and ball up their fist when you touch the palm of their hands. The miracle of life is such a cool thing to witness and I am lucky enough to witness that a few times a week. One thing that is different is their little personalities and I often tell my parents that I can predict what they will be like as an older child at their newborn session. It definitely holds true for my kids and since I am lucky enough to get to see most of my newborns throughout their first year I can say I am about 80% correct at my prediction. After our session with Little A my prediction is her parents have a a very peaceful, laid back little girl. Or should I say big girl since she weighed 9 lbs 2 oz (way to go mom). Thank you S and E for bringing your sweet angel to visit me. I enjoyed every minute of our session.

And during this session I found my beautiful outdoor space at my studio.

Meet Mr. T. I met this sweet, sleepy little angel right before my trip. He was so amazing to work with and seriously beautiful. I mean look at his sweet little mouth. I was so happy with how the images with his momma came out so I am sharing a few of those as well.

Last weekend was the day… my first session in the new studio. I know I have not really announced it here but as you can imagine moving in, getting settled in and rearranging how I do things have kept me pretty busy this month. I am so excited for my new space though and I know after this session that I am going to be very happy here. I so enjoyed the beautiful light my shooting room has and it was so nice to have more room to spread out and make my clients feel more comfortable. And speaking of clients could this sweet girl be a sweeter subject for my first session here. She arrived bright eyed and then shortly went to sleepy town. She was amazing. So adorable with her bright eyes, smiles and red hair. The whole family for that matter was gorgeous. I couldn’t resist putting a shot of them up as well. Thank you C family for bringing your sweetie to see me. I had the BEST time with you three.

Meet Miss I. What a doll she is… she also happens to be my daughter’s first teacher’s little princess. I had the utmost pleasure of photographing her a short while ago. We had lots of laughs about having two kids and the funny things they do. I even got a few shots of big brother. He was Lydia’s first boyfriend.

Meet Miss Elliott, Ellie for short. Isnt’ she divine? She came to visit me a short while ago and I was just taken by her calm demeanor and beauty. She was such a good sleeper and so easy going. She is the third child for this family and I often say that the third is usually so easy. Pretty much because they have to be. She was no exception to this rule. I had such a great time with her and her family. Ellie’s sweet snuggles and smiles were just what I needed. Thank you P family for bringing her to see me.

Meet M! He is the happiest three year old around. Always smiling and looking for adventure. He is quick to hold my hand, give me hugs and bring me a flower. He loves playing ball, swinging and hugs from his mommy. He is all the things that make three year olds wonderful. And he makes you stop and think… man they grow up fast. I have a special relationship with M and his mommy. I have known them for years even before M was a thought in his mommy’s head. They are special people with special place in my heart always! And when mom told me that I was part of their inner circle as M ran up to grab my hand when we were walking back to the car I got a little teary. That is what makes my job so special… I get to develop relationships with these amazing people as well as capture memories. I love my job. And speaking of my job…. coming up soon a big announcement about AGR Photography so stay tuned.

I was so excited to see C again. The last time I saw her she was a wee newborn and now sitting and smiling… so fun. She was a bit under the weather but still so adorable. And while she didn’t hardly shed a tear she did seem a bit sleepy. Even still we got some adorable shots of her and her mom brought one of her dresses and bonnets that she wore as a little girl. Oh my she was so cute in that.
