I would like you to meet Kristi… She found me after I put out the Maternity Model Casting call. I was thrilled to hear she was interested and after I read her story I was even more excited. Kristi and her family have been on quite a journey to get this little man here. After losing her second baby (and first son Issac) to a blood clotting disorder that she was unaware she even had you can only imagine the roller coaster ride she has been on. You can read about Kristi and the whole family here. We had our maternity session in Smyrna shopping complex… while it was nice I longed for the older buildings with more character. After some searching I found one. 
When I left the session I started thinking about Kristi’s last name and the fact that she is from my hometown of Douglasville. I called my father and after some emails we realized we were cousins! LOL! Small world huh? Kristi’s husband and I are actually 5th cousins. But who’s counting, we are still related. So I was even more eager to meet their new bundle and my newest cousin. Baby J arrived a bit early but healthy and strong. They are all so smitten with him and why wouldn’t they be? He is gorgeous and precious in every way. Not to mention… perfect. So I will start this post off with some rockin maternity shots…
It just might be criminal to be this pretty…

Kristi I am so glad I found you. I feel honored to be J’s first professional photographer and even more grateful that your sweet family and mine have connected. I look forward to watching both your children grow and Ella is still asking for a playdate with G, her new cousin.
