I always love to have my clients come back and see me. I get such a kick out of not only watching the babies grow but watching their parent’s grow as well. When you are a first time parent I think you grow just as much as your baby does. You learn to adapt, how to live on no sleep, how to sleep again, what not to worry about (maybe too late) and for some of us (me included) how to relax. I was so uptight with Garrett, so waiting on him to get to the next milestone. And as he got older I learned to relax a bit. Although I think the real relaxation comes with baby #2, #3, ect.
I could see that growth with Mr. J’s parents. They were relaxed the first time I saw them but to me this time their family seemed so connected, so intertwined into each other. Little J’s personality had just blossomed and you could tell it was taking their family to a whole new level. Isn’t that what is so great about kids? They seem to take you to a new level of living. It is a glorious ride!
