Yesterday we celebrated Garrett’s 6th Birthday. He asked for a “hiking party” and only wanted boys to come. He is all about that these days. Ahhh…. 6 year olds. So I booked his party at the Chattahoochee Nature Center and we got to go on a hike, see some cool animals and eat a big cookie! The boys had a great time. Here are some shots of the animals we saw.
If you haven’t visited the nature center you should. They have a beautiful area for walking, a small reptile house and a Beaver Habitat. As well as some very cool birds. All the animals are rescue animals and are all native to Georgia. I am not sure why I had never been there before but I will be taking my family back.
The only downside to the day was poor Ella fell out of her bed Friday night (at 3 am) and broke her collar bone.
We waited till morning to take her to Scottish Rite so she missed most of the party. But we took her on her own hike afterwards. Poor girl, she is pitiful. Here she is in her brace. Lydia was so happy to see her as you can tell.
