A 6 year old and his 2(almost 3) year old sister.

These guys were so sweet.  They were so well behaved and so kind to each other.  I was amazed they would hold hands and hug without one single “he’s gross” or “I don’t like girls” comment! :)

Mom wanted some pictures of her boy before he lost anymore teeth.  She told me she wanted capture him before he became a big kid and ummm… I hate to break it to you mom but he is a BIG kid. :)  He is so tall and so has that big kid look.  He also was so well behaved and did whatever was asked of him.  Little sister was a joy too.  She said the funniest things and kept us laughing the whole time.  And just like her big brother she did everything we asked.  Needless to say they were a joy to photograph and I was so happy to meet them.

Photographers notes- These were taken with my 135mm 2.0L between 8:45 am and 10:00am.  I rarely do sessions that early but mom wanted early and I am so glad she did.  The light was magic!  I have never had a client with glasses until this client… except my own of course. :)  I was worried but with the low soft light it was easy to keep the glare off.  I was so excited to see no glare on his glasses!  I also tried to keep my aperture set at 3.5 or so.  That way it reduce the risk of the camera catching focus on the glasses and not the eyes (which can be a BIG problem).

Sara - Love the first one of the girl, what a “real” smile and the breeze in her hair is perfect. The one of them holding hands is great too.September 23, 2007 – 10:12 pm

Lisa - Oh how I LOVE the one of them holding hands! How sweet! Great once again, I know it also helps that you have such good subjects to photograph too!

Natalie - Alisha you did a fantastic job with the glasses! He reminds me so much of my son, who just lost 3 teeth and wears glasses! NatalieSeptember 20, 2007 – 2:30 pm
