Most of my avid blog readers know that I prefer newborns between the ages of 6-10 days… they tend to sleep better, fuss less, curl up, and tolerate all the repositioning better. I say this because this is ideal. Well when this little guy’s mom called me he was already 3 weeks old. She really wanted newborn shots even though he was technically past what I as a photographer consider a newborn. I explained to her that it might not work but I am always up for a challenge. 
She agreed and we met a week later. So he was 4 weeks old but luckily he was born 3 weeks early so that helps with the sleeping and he was still just a little guy. So he happily curled up. And while he didn’t tolerate being moved as much with some coaxing and a full tummy we got some GREAT shots. One of which might be my new favorite. He is now gracing the front page of my website. Thank you M for bringing your gorgeous family out to meet me. I had a great time with you all!
