It is hard to believe that the end of 2006 is closing in on us. It has been such an amazing year for me and for my business. I have seen my business grow and change more than I could have imagined. I am so thankful to all of my wonderful clients. Without you all I would be lost. You have given me a small but meaningful role in your family’s lives. I feel such a connection with you all. You make me appreciate my own family, my wonderful friends, and LIFE in general.
My clients rejuvenate me, expand my mind and just plain bring me joy. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you all. Many of you I have photographed several times and that bond just keeps growing, many of you are new clients that I look forward to working with more in the future, and still as 2007 approaches I know that there are many of you (on the books) that I have not met yet and look forward to spending time with.
So tonight on this Christmas Eve, I sit here wanting to wish you all a personal Happy Holidays but this will have to do.
I also want to say thank you for sharing your families with me and also for letting me share mine. I am especially thankful for being able to share from the very beginning my sweet Lydia. Although three kids is a huge handful for me I am so blessed to have that little peanut in my life. As I say often, in the insanity of daily life Lydia is my sanity.
So to close I would like to share my Christmas card with you all. It was a fun and stressful experience creating it. But in the end I was super pleased with what I got and I look forward to decorating the walls of our newly finished basement with my kids (another BIG project for the family this year). Thank you to my dear mother for taking the family shot and for my dear father for making funny faces and dancing around in an attempt to get all three of my children to look at him. Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.
Some of you received on in the mail but for those of you who did not her it is….
Happy Holidays Everyone!
Love,
Alisha
PS….
It was a folded card so, it goes in order of front, inside top, inside bottom, and back. I love how the back turned out. The series of images really shows each child’s personalities. Garrett is my smiling, happy child. Full of emotion and not afraid to show it. Ella is my serious, but not too serious sweet girl. She is really 3 going on 16.
And Lydia is my precious baby girl who is just as calm as can be in the whirlwind we call her siblings.
